This absolute has a thick consistency and a very dark green colour.

Not to be confused with the smell of violet flowers (ionones), violet leaf absolute has a green-leafy and earthy aroma.

It’s a very diffusive and powerful material with a natural green odour reminiscent of damp vegetation. However, when heavily diluted, its aroma opens up and allows watery notes and cucumber nuances to come through the canopy of thick and dense green notes. It can add diffusion and elegance to green Florals, Fougère and Chypre compositions when used correctly and in low concentrations.
