This rosemary chemotype is rich in verbenone, a ketone that gives this oil a softer, more rounded and less medicinal scent profile. Less camphoraceous than the cineole and camphor chemotypes, it offers fresh herbal notes supported by gentle woody, sweet nuances. This makes it our preferred rosemary oil for perfumery, and the reason we use it in our perfume Spring Rain, where it contributes freshness, diffusion and elegance while integrating seamlessly with other herbaceous, minty and woody notes.
