Extraction method: Supercritical fluid extraction with CO2

This CO2 extract has a 3% irone content. It displays a creamy orris aroma that’s less delicate and powdery floral than that of our orris butter. However, this extract has a lovely gourmand chocolaty facet that’s missing from orris butter and extracts with higher irone content. As with other fatty and waxy CO2 extracts, it won’t completely dissolve in alcohol and the residue will need to be filtered.
