With its fresh, soft woody floral aroma, it can be used as a gentle top to middle note that can smooth and round sharper notes. We use ho wood in our rosewood accords to avoid using oil from rosewood trees. It’s one of the key ingredients in our Patchouli Clouds perfume.

Due to its high linalool content, this essential oil is useful for people who don’t use natural isolates, as it can help them to achieve similar effects to linalool, but with a bit more texture and complexity.
