Ambrettolide Natural Isolate

One of the few natural musks available, it’s a fine macrocyclic musk, very tenacious and diffusive even in traces. This clean white musk note can find a place in any perfume composition, but it’s specially useful for those citrus and floral perfumes that struggle with fixation due to the lack of suitable clean and floral base notes.

Please note that this ambrettolide is not isolated from ambrette seed oil. The isolate ex. ambrette seed is extremely expensive. The more affordable options are produced from natural ingredients using alternative methods such as biotechnology.
